ABOUT ME
I have been performing since the age of 6, when I performed my first singing solo in front of large church congregation during communion on Christmas Eve, 1975. I sang, "Angels We Have Heard On High". It was the start of something that I had no idea would happen. I played baseball for 9 years as a youth, and my dream at that time was to be a New York Yankee. Needless to say, at 18 I ended up heading for the Big Apple in January of '88, at the prodding of my director, and vocal and acting trainer Dad. I attended American Musical and Dramatic Academy, finishing the two year shcool in a year and a half, by utilizing a summer program. I graaduated in the spring of '89. From there I worked at the Dutch Apple Dinner Theater, and on National Tour with Opera NE, then moved on to a European Tou.r called, "Golden Musical of Broadway", and then landed my first major and what would be my only truly maor role in a major production of Starlight Express as Rusty in Bochum, German in 1991. I performed Rusty for 1 year, after 3 months of German dialect, dance, and skate training. I joined the Starlight Express Highlights CD as Rusty in 1992, which went triple platimum in sales around Germany, the U.K., America and Europe
I could also be heard singing Rusty on Andrew Lloyd Webber's European Broadway Compilation Album. After that, I returned to NYC to appear in Law & Order, As The World Turns, and eventually worked in more dinner theater in several leading roles, including Billy Bigelow, Young Joe, Corneius Hackel, J. Pierpont Finch, Freddy, Riff, Tigger, Alladin, and more. I also can be seen in the MTV video filmed in Los Angeles in 1996 of Sublime's Santeria as the goatee cowboy. Currently, I live in Binghamton, NY and am a professional writer with my own blog, books on Amazon and Barnes & Noble, and am performing as Steve in Steve The Hater, a youtube comedy short series, and as Officer Knight in Richard Harlost's Off Point Comedy Series, being pitched to Amazon, Hulu, Netflix, and the like for full production next season. I have also established an online magazine caled "The World At A View" on Flipbaord in which you can find my artiles from my own personal blog.
